Overview

Bruker is a leading supplier of molecular diagnostic solution for routine laboratories working with infectious disease patient samples. The Bruker portfolio consists of highly automated sample to result systems as well as innovative high multiplex PCR solutions. Bruker Molecular Diagnostics is now hiring a National Sales Manager MDx UK, overseeing the commercialization of its Molecular Diagnostics portfolio. The successful applicant is developing and executing a successful commercialization strategy, provides value to our customers and effectively collaborates with internal business partners. The national sales manager leads a team of experienced account managers and coordinates all national sales and marketing activities in line with Bruker’s business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Direct sales and marketing responsibilities for the UK.
  • Leading a team of 3 account managers
  • Ensure that strategic targets are executed, and sales budgets achieved
  • Collaborate with the local back-office team and the product management team
  • Ensuring that the UK market requirements are communicated to the relevant global functions.
  • Participate in relevant tenders
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Contract partners
  • Ensure that sales targets are met
  • Submitting weekly expense reports, monthly opportunity reports and other reports requested
  • Collaborate on local regulatory requirements with the relevant global functions
  • Be an advocate inside Bruker-MDx, help to maximize success in selling our products and services. This includes for example being the contact the between factory and team to solve problems or delegate follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with the technical and application specialists to address local support needs and priorities of the customer base, as well as commercial goals.
  • Follow-up on Leads submitted to them and maintain a crisp picture within the CRM database.
  • Participation in local trade shows
  • Ensure effective teaming with sister divisions and other commercial partners.
  • Establishing and maintaining a professional competence with latest sales methods and techniques. Where necessary, adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide continual education for key sales requirements and tools.
  • Report to the Senior Director Molecular Diagnostics Region North
  • Regular business travels within the country and abroad.

Qualifications

  • Exellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • BSc or equivalent in Biomedical Sciences, Life or Analytical Science, with some postgraduate experience in diagnostics
  • Proven track record in Sales and Marketing
  • Excellent teamworker
  • Self-organized and used to methodically structured working
  • Effectively use time and resources, ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent Sales Force skills
  • Willingness for regular business travels within the country and abroad.
