Bruker Korea is searching for a motivated Application Specialist who has the experience in Application and Analytical Support of XRF product. Position will be in our Seoul Office and support Pre-Sales/Marketing and Post-sales in Korea. This role will report to Application Manager in Bruker AXS North-East Asia.

• Primary customer applications expert for XRF.
• Provides technical expertise through customer consultation, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of our XRF products.
• Assists customers with assessing potential XRF applications to meet process XRF needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
• Build an application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, product demo for customers.
• Support of the core X-ray based XRF, XRD/SCD and XRM, Engineering and Production Teams in qualification of new technologies, software and hardware features.
• Ensures that the product application is functioning according to specifications including source inspection of the tools prior to shipment and following installation.
• Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by XRF technical information on specific applications. 

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Degree or Masters in Science, Chemistry, Material Science preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience of technical and application support of XRF analytical instrument in Korea.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with the scientific and engineering community
• Bilingual Korean and English (verbal, reading and writing)
• Valid driving license.
• Ability to travel domestically in Korea as well as international travels to Japan and Germany.
