Responsibilities

As a Regional HR Business Partner for SEA & ANZ, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

Business Partnership:

  • Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, assess & provide HR solutions to address business issues and supporting the implementation of the business strategy.
  • Analyze organizational issues and aligns structure, systems and processes.

 Employee Relations/Engagement

  • Offers expertise in employee relations, ensuring compliance with company practices and employment law, and managing staff performance.
  • Facilitates and fosters internal communication through plans and processes that deliver clear and consistent messages.

Talent Management:

  • Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure an optimal workforce.
  • Identify appropriate local CoE programs.  Collaborates & execute CoE programs locally.

Organizational Development 

  • Partner with business to drive change by understanding desired outcome, stakeholders, readiness, barriers and the overall impact of the change and contribute to the development of a positive work culture.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, career development, and succession planning to increase team & organization performance.
  • Viewed as a Coach in providing advice and counsel in a straightforward & focused manner to fit individual, team & organizational needs.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of employment law to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensures HR policies and processes meet the needs of the organization and are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partners with business to sustain a culture of consistent transparency, demonstrated fairness in employee dealings, in compliance to Company's Code of Conduct

Strategy Implementation

  • Identify and implement HR strategy in the region
  • Continuous improvement in HR support to the business groups

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Degree in HR Management or equivalent with 8 - 10 years of HR related experience, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • A self-starter, driven and able manage relations through understanding environment and needs in a highly matrix organization.
  • Ability to offer a point of view, takes a position, challenge assumptions, shares information, take appropriate risk, provides candid observations and influence others.
  • Strong execution skill set and disciplined approach to execute programs.
  • Strong analytical skill and business acumen.  
  • Ability to multi-task and manage different HR work areas at any one time.
  • Understands business operations & labour laws in SEA & ANZ.
  • Occasional travels (approx. 25%) to SEA & ANZ.
