The function of the Service Engineer is to provide expert hands-on technical expertise in all aspects of installation, commissioning, customer training, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support for Bruker NMR as required.

Responsibilities

New opportunity based in Korea for a Field Service Engineer to install and provide support for high technology equipment in research labs of companies, Universities, and government research labs. will work with highly complex equipment (Bruker NMR,etc.) which requires an advanced understanding of electronics and Chemistry. 

 

  • Provide on-site installation, testing and customer training of FT-NMR, EPR, Minispec.
  • Diagnose problems by in-depth troubleshooting and provide service for repair of Spectrometer and accessaries.
  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance and validation of spectrumeters. 
  • Organized and prioritize schedule in accordance with customer requirements to determine needs for immediate attention, onsite visits, and remote assistance. 
  • Coordinate with customers to arrange remote sessions, phone support, and lab facility inspection for new installations.
  • Communicate and work closely with service and support Center.
  • Excellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to communicate and interact with customer.
  • Frequent travel within Korea and also expected in abroad.
  • The ability to contribute to a team work, yet to accept responsibility for an individual role within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Physics, Electronics or related discipline.
  • Beginners or those with less than 3 years of experience in same industry are welcome.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Written and Spoken English language skill. 
  • Working knowledge of computer network interfacing.
  • A valid driver's license.
