Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of our infrastructure team, the DevOps Engineer role is designed for those who excel in refining and advancing our technological practices. Here, modernization is key; we aim to enhance and update our systems to keep pace with the evolving tech landscape. Your mission will be to ensure our infrastructure is robust, up-to-date, and seamlessly integrated with our software development lifecycle. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You proactively engage with the development teams to identify bottlenecks and pain points, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • You spearhead modernization initiatives within the infrastructure team, driving projects that enhance our technological capabilities.
  • You maintain and extend our existing DevOps and CI/CD concepts and software development infrastructure.
  • You ensure the reliability and security of our infrastructure, while continuously seeking improvements in line with industry best practices and requirements of Bruker’s Global IT.
  • You support your team colleagues in case of technical difficulties.

Qualifications

  • You have a profound knowledge in the administration of server systems on both Windows and Linux.
  • You are familiar with CI/CD tools, Virtualization and IT infrastructure maintenance.
  • You can communicate in English and German.
