For our R&D department in Ettlingen we are looking for a Software Developer C++ Spectrometer Control (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of software components for EPR spectrometers
  • After thorough training, rapid assumption of responsibility for the control of EPR spectrometers
  • Integration of OEM hardware components
  • Application of object-orientated concepts and modern design patterns
  • Optimization of the existing software architecture

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, or computer science
  • 1 - 2 years of practical experience in software development with C++
  • Ideally experience with C++ 20, development tools, libraries, and protocols (e.g. Docker, Boost, gRPC)
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Experience in hardware-related software development, EPR knowledge is a plus
  • Fascination for developments in high technology and curiosity about how your developed software works
  • Independent, structured way of working
  • Team spirit and a hands-on mentality
