Bruker Applied Mass Spectrometry primarily designs solutions based on mass spectrometry for the food, environmental, forensics and clinical research, and industrial markets.  Analytical areas such as characterization, safety, authenticity, adulteration, QC of starting and finished goods are amongst the applications covered and are used across industrial, government and academic institutes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire sales process from generating potential customers to evaluating the applications that customers are interested in
  • Find new market opportunities and new applications to ensure the completion of annual sales targets
  • Understanding customer’s needs and quote appropriate system configuration, actively cooperate and work collaboratively with dealers, and complete sales through purchase orders
  • Support the sales process by introducing Bruker stakeholders to account
  • Coordinate customer training, system installation and follow-up training
  • Support the company's marketing activities, such as exhibitions, seminars, etc.
  • Recruit/manage/evaluate distributors in the jurisdiction
  • Establish a solid customer relationship with key customers and maintain communication, fully understand the market and provide timely feedback and solutions to customer problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in chemistry, agriculture, food or related fields
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales and dealer management of analytical instruments and/or mass spectrometers, familiar with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry & high-resolution mass spectrometry
  • Familiar with the application market: food safety, food quality, industrial materials, energy, environment, clinical toxicology, forensic science, safety and other related fields
  • Good customer communication skills, high teamwork spirit
  • Adapt to frequent business trips
  • Be open to challenges
  • Japanese and English oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SaleForce
