For our Team in Bremen we are looking for a Legal Manager (m/w/d).

Responsibilities

  • Contact person for operational legal issues of the local as well as international day-to-day business of the various German and foreign companies of the CALID Group
  • Supporting and advising the sales, marketing and purchasing departments in the review of customer and supplier contracts, predominantly in the English language
  • Accompaniment of contract negotiations and support in the defense and enforcement of claims
  • Drafting, reviewing and advising on all types of contracts
  • Advice and support in out-of-court and court disputes with suppliers, customers and authorities
  • You will work closely with the compliance department as well as external lawyers and various departments in Germany and abroad

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed law studies (2nd state examination; at least satisfactory results)
  • Several years of professional experience (between 3- 5 years) in a comparable position, preferably in an internationally operating industrial company, ideally in the field of medical technology
  • Experience in post-merger integrations and Legal Operations
  • Very good, business fluent written and spoken English and German skills. Other languages will be considered a plus
  • High level of commitment, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to work on a wide variety of high-priority topics in parallel
  • Team player with the willingness to always move forward proactively
