Bruker Nano, one of Bruker’s four operating segments, provides customers in academic, governmental institutions, life science, materials science, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will work closely with the manufacturing operation of Bruker Penang to drive its success as the Global Fulfillment Center for Bruker NANO. This requires multilayers and function collaboration work from different geographical areas globally. In essence your role will require you to perform the responsibilities below and any other assignment assign to you by your manager or the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage continuous improvements projects and Lean activities and values stream mapping within the facility in order to improve overall workflow (Lean Champion),
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of divisional processes, product transfer documentation and business process structures
• Ability to perform Methods-Time Measurement (MTM), studies and communicate them in a meaningful manner for better operation efficiency
• Ability to modify or create CAD layouts for processes and/or facilities
• Possess the ability to identify opportunities and implement improvements
• Demonstrates proven written & verbal communication skills
• Displays great teamwork attitude and abilities to collaborate and lead initiatives with effective influencing skills
• Lead & coordinate improvement projects.

Qualifications and requirement

•  Bachelor’s degree or Master in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4-6 years’ experience.
• Intermediate PC expertise (Office, Simulation, other databases)
• Proficiency in software packages such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, ) and AutoCAD
• Good understanding of Integrated Safety, Material Handling, Ergo, Process & Plant Operation
• intermediate SAP ERP use experience
