As Sales Product Specialist for Benchtop FT-NMR instruments, you will report directly to the Sales Director EMEA and will work closely with our Regional Sales Teams and Market Sales Teams.

 

The position can be home-office based in any EMEA country where Bruker is established, or in one of our Bruker Offices across the EMEA region.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned region (EMEA) to generate new business for the Fourier 80 NMR benchtop instrument.
  • Understand the customer’s value chain, critical success factors, and key initiative based on which the account plan and sales strategy is developed. Communicate how the Fourier 80 solution addresses customer’s needs.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales volume targets.
  • Observing and reporting on competitive and market trends.
  • Oral and written negotiations with customers, suppliers, partner companies and internal departments.
  • Promote and sell the Fourier 80 as offered by Bruker BioSpin to all existing and new customers.
  • Study all aspects of benchtop NMR market, including technology development, business opportunities, and industrial regulations, in order to promote sales in close collaboration with Regional and Market Sales.
  • Maintain all sales related information in the company’s CRM (SalesForce.com) on an up-to-date basis, including leads, accounts, opportunities, and sales funnel management
  • Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party (distributors/agents)
  • Develop existing and build new customer relationships ensuring Bruker is seen as a long-term business partner.
  • Conduct telephone calls and in-person visits to communicate latest product offerings via presentations and other communication media. Arrange for product demonstrations with Benchtop Application Hub as necessary.
  • Produce clear and effective written proposals and quotations using company provided quoting tools; maintain quoted prices within pre-defined pricing matrix; negotiate contract term and conditions within company guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with Management and provide timely updates on all Fourier 80 instrument sale opportunities in the region, including likely and not likely purchasing decisions
  • Coordinate effort to communicate customer problems and complaints to the appropriate sales or service group
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences as appropriate

Qualifications

What you should bring:

 

PhD or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related discipline or 10+ years’ equivalent experience.

Experience in the NMR benchtop business is a plus.

Hands-on knowledge and experience of promoting and selling benchtop NMR instruments.
