Bruker Nano, one of Bruker’s four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

 

This role is located at Bruker Nano’s facility in Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Functions as a trusted HR advisor to employees, to people managers, and to site leadership, covering a variety of Human Resources activities.
  • Lead, formulate and coordinate activities related for Talent Acquisition and People Development
  • Acts as an ambassador of our Culture, Values and partners with site leaders to foster a dynamic, high-performance, people-oriented environment which emphasizes innovation. .
  • Lead and formulate Talent Acquisition activities such as hiring channel development, recruitment roadshow, updating and maintaining social media accounts, onboarding, new hires orientation program and other relevant activities
  • People Development activities – maintenance and designing training calendar, sourcing of program partner, conducts annual training and development needs assessment, develops training and development programs and objectives, administers spending against the departmental budget.
  • Trains and coaches’ managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts, plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training, development events and resources.
  • Follow the full recruitment life cycle process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating and offer negotiation processes, while advising the business partners along the way
  • Source and recruit highly technical R&D talent. Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking and employee referrals engage, nurture and qualify a diverse pool of candidates from a range of channels and sources
  • Partner & guide hiring managers on the recruitment process Follow up and manage the timeline requirements and communications with key stake holders Identify and implement effective sourcing strategies including outreach with social media, search agents, and industry or professional associations
  • Create an effective & efficient interview process and candidate experience by setting expectation
  • Conducts research and analyses data on assigned projects as needed.
  • Utilize Applicant tracking system for end-to-end recruiting activities Ensure the efficient and professional management of the offer process. Assist on any ad-hoc activities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an HR Generalist supporting manufacturing operations
  • Experience with practical application of Human Resource principles
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree & 3+ years’ experience of sourcing and recruiting experience; corporate recruiting and talent development experience with a multinational is preferred, but agency experience will be considered
  • Intermediate or advance level user with general MS applications especially MS Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, Teams.
  • Good hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Google form and other web-based efficiency improvement software
  • Able to gather, analyse and draw practical conclusions from data, as well as communicate data findings and influence key stakeholders.
  • Able to build internal networks and form relationships across all levels of the organization.
