Currently, we are looking for a System Engineer Network at Buker Physik GmbH.

As a System Engineer Network at Bruker, you will be part of an internationally operating in-house IT service provider and, together with your team, deliver IT service and support to global internal end users.

• Administration of complex network environments
• Responsibility for the trouble-free operation of infrastructure services
• Design and further development of our IT landscape/architecture
• Implementation of projects in the area of IT infrastructure
• Management of service providers in technology consulting projects and day-to-day operations
• Advising specialist departments and supporting them in the development of IT solutions
• Processing of fault reports (incidents) within the scope of 2nd and 3rd level support

• Completed studies in the field of computer science/business informatics or IT training
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience
• Solid knowledge in the area of IT networks
• Several years of practical experience in the administration of IT infrastructures preferably in the area of network/LAN
• Experience in managing technical IT projects
• Good understanding of processes and at least basic knowledge of business administration
• High willingness to actively shape change and take responsibility
• Strong passion to deal with new technologies and IT trends
• Assertive, excellent communication skills
• Independent, analytical and structured way of working
• Team player
• Willingness to travel to other locations (10%)
• Fluent English (German is a strong advantage)
